Did you receive an Aircash activation code you didn't request?
If you receive an SMS with an Aircash activation code that you didn't request, ignore it and do not reply.
This is a fraud attempt.
Aircash customer care will never ask you for an activation code.
Aircash will never send you unexpected text messages or e-mails asking you for access information or any other personal information. Delete such messages immediately. You can also report them to our email address [email protected]
The security of your account is our priority, which is why access to the app requires identity verification through video verification.
Never download or install the Aircash App from unknown and untrustworthy sources.
Pay special attention to text messages and emails
Do not respond to text messages, multimedia messages, and e-mails from unknown and untrustworthy senders, do not click on links and do not download files contained within. Do not open or act on fraudulent electronic messages asking you to log in to the Aircash app or change your PIN, and do not under any circumstances send SMS access codes to the Aircash app to other people.
Do not open unsolicited email messages for which you are not sure who the sender is or if they have been flagged as “spam”, and pay special attention to emails containing links or attachments.
Every e-mail from Aircash will be sent exclusively from the official e-mail address that ends with @aircash.eu
Other security tips
Prevent identity theft
Identity theft can occur via email (phishing), phone call (vishing) or SMS message (smishing). Scammers will try to convince you to share personal, financial or security information with them. Therefore, do not open unsecured websites via your mobile device and do not leave personal data or email addresses on suspicious websites.
Never enter your Aircash Mastercard data on suspicious websites. It is especially important to be careful with your card number, card verification number and security code when entering them at a online point of sale, just as you would be careful when entering your PIN at an ATM!
Changing your mobile device
If you no longer use a mobile device, we recommend restoring it to factory settings to delete your data. On your new device, download Aircash from an authorised store.
Aircash and Aircash employees will never ask you to disclose confidential information such as PINs and generated authentication and authorisation codes you receive via SMS or email, or any other personalised security data.
PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION AND DO NOT:
share your Aircash app PIN with other people
write down your PIN on your mobile device or in any other notes
open unsecured websites via your mobile device
leave personal data or email addresses on suspicious websites
download mobile apps from unknown or unverified sources
NOTIFY US…
