Aircash among the top 10 companies in the international “Imprese Vincenti” program
Aircash, a licensed electronic money institution, has been selected among the ten international companies recognized through Imprese Vincenti, Intesa Sanpaolo’s program that celebrates excellence among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The awards ceremony took place on 9 June 2026 in Milan, during the final stage of the sixth edition of the program.

The Imprese Vincenti program is dedicated to identifying and recognizing SMEs that stand out for their ability to innovate, grow, and contribute to the development of global value chains. Alongside Italian companies, the final stage also featured selected international businesses from Central and Eastern Europe and Egypt—markets where Intesa Sanpaolo operates.

4,000 companies applied

Approximately 4,000 companies applied for the sixth edition of the program. Since 2019, the initiative has received a total of 18,000 applications, from which 150 companies were selected to participate, including ten international businesses—one of them being Aircash.

The selection criteria included innovation and research, digital and environmental transformation, international expansion, employee development, and corporate welfare. Aircash was the only Croatian company to receive an award in this year’s program.

“The selected companies distinguished themselves through their ability to innovate, grow, and contribute to the development and integration of geographically dispersed supply chains—not only as exporters, but also as strategic nodes within value chains and key drivers of nearshoring and ESG transition,” Intesa Sanpaolo stated.

A strong incentive for further investment

“We are honored to receive this recognition, which confirms that we are building a sustainable and internationally competitive financial platform. Being the only awarded company from Croatia, alongside some of the most outstanding businesses from Central and Eastern Europe, is a strong incentive for our continued growth, investment in innovation, and expansion into new markets,” said Aircash Chief Financial Officer, Jože Rant.

Today, Aircash serves more than 1.5 million users across 14 European markets and continues to expand its range of digital payment services designed to be accessible to everyone. Aircash has also enjoyed a successful partnership for the past six years with Privredna banka Zagreb, the Croatian subsidiary of Intesa Sanpaolo, enabling Aircash users to withdraw cash through PBZ’s ATM network.
